"Mounting challenges in EU-Turkey Relations: Defining Ways Forward”

This event seeks to yield a constructive conversation amongst  EU officials, scholars, Human Rights experts, and members of the civil society on the current state of political and humanitarian affairs in Turkey, while simultaneously demonstrating the impact that these themes have on the EU. This event will also consider the risks and benefits of EU-Turkey relations, and reflect on how the EU could develop strategic and evidence-based policies to maximize its added-value as a regional actor. 

 

The conference will be moderated by Ambassador Marc Otte, BIC President and Belgium Special Envoy for Syria.
